2012 Education & Outreach
At the Y, a leading nonprofit aimed at strengthening community, we work every day to help youth set and achieve their personal and educational goals. Through programs like Leaders Club, the Y makes sure that every child has an opportunity to envision a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening his or her community. As a result, youth are given the guidance they need to gain confidence as they develop into successful adults. At the same time, adults too need resources and support in order to remain healthy and active members of society. The Y's outreach programs keep us all connected, while promoting positive change overall.
The Y offers youth the opportunity to develop skills, creativity and self-confidence through art, dance, music, theater and recreational activities.
Spend time on the road with fellow members on trips through camps, senior clubs, special family events and more!
The Y ensures an assortment of youth programming, including swim lessons and sports, is made available at times most convenient for homeschoolers.
The Y takes safety seriously. Learn to save lives by becoming a certified Lifeguard or learn First Aid and CPR.
The Y offers courses on various subjects throughout the year to support continued growth.
Youth will develop leadership skills, receive volunteer hours and work with a team of like-minded teens committed to their community.
The Y makes strengthening families a priority; families learn communication skills, life skills and family life skills.
